Building A Foundation For Tec Diving
The PADI Tec 40 Diver class is in many ways the “open water” of technical diving. Your instructor will cover many of the basic concepts of technical diving including dive planning, team diving techniques, equipment configuration and skills and emergency management. As you progress deeper through the PADI Tec 45, Tec 50, Tec 65 Trimix and Tec Trimix classes, you build on the basic skills you learned in this class.

Students carrying pony bottles and small stages may be able to use one source of buoyancy control at the discretion of the instructor. Contact us for more information.

Exposure suit appropriate for the environment. If using a drysuit, you must be able to demonstrate proper buoyancy control before using in open water
Weight system (if necessary), Jon Line (if necessary for the environment), Knife/cutting device (on upper body), slate, backup mask (optional but recommended), compass, lights (if necessary for environment)
