How Does It All Interact?

The ocean is a complex system of interactions including and understanding how everything is interrelated helps us appreciate what we see as divers and understand the importance of preserving it. We offer this class on all of our trips as well as a freshwater version of the course every October.

Pre Requisites

10 years of age
Certified diver

Price

$110 / diver which includes student manual, 1 pool dive, 2 open water dives, all instruction and certification.

Deduct $20 / diver if you completed one Underwater Naturalist Adventure Dive during your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver class or your PADI Adventure Diver class.

You are responsible for travel expenses, any park or dive site admission & any equipment needs.

Equipment Needed

Personal Gear: Mask, snorkel, fins, boots, logbook, knife or diver tool, SMB w/ spool or reel.

Diving System: Tank, BCD with low pressure inflator, primary regulator and alternate air source, SPG, depth gauge or dive computer, compass, quick release weight system and weights, adequate exposure protection, one audible emergency surface signaling device, dive computer or RDP w/ timing device.

Dive 1 from your PADI Underwater Naturalist  class can be credited toward your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course.

Combine your PADI Underwater Naturalist class with the PADI Fish ID class and our annual PADI Underwater Pumpkin Carver class & event all on the same weekend.
