What Was That?
Anyone can dive on a coral reef or go “muck” diving in the South Pacific and see hundreds of different species of fish, but knowing what you are looking at adds even more enjoyment to the experience. Once a year we even offer a special freshwater fish identification course taught by two renowned freshwater biologists. See below for the dates.
Pre Requisites
10 years of age
Certified diver
Price
$85 / diver which includes 2 open water dives, all instruction and certification.
Deduct $20 / diver if you completed the first Fish ID Adventure Dive during your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver class or PADI Adventure Diver class.
You are responsible for travel expenses, any park or dive site admission & any equipment needs.
Equipment Needed
Personal Gear: Mask, snorkel, fins, boots, logbook, knife or diver tool, SMB w/ spool or reel.
Diving System: Tank, BCD with low pressure inflator, primary regulator and alternate air source, SPG, depth gauge or dive computer, compass, quick release weight system and weights, adequate exposure protection, one audible emergency surface signaling device, dive computer or RDP w/ timing device.

PADI Fish Identification class can be credited toward your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver class and meets some requirements for your PADI Master Scuba Diver certification.
