Look just below the surface -that's where all the action is! TGADC's Discover Snorkeling session is your ticket to the action-packed underwater world. With tips and suggestions on how to make the most of your snorkeling adventures, this program is based on three simple principles: 1) you snorkel because you want to see and interact with the underwater world, 2) snorkeling is a great adventure and 3) anyone can do it!
Your Discover Snorkeling session will begin with your instructor teaching you how to properly prepare and adjust your mask & snorkel. Following that, your instructor will join you in our custom built pool for a 60-75 minute session. Your instructor is a trained professional and is there to help introduce you to snorkeling and to show you how it can be a wonderful and easy experience.
A common question often asked is "I wear glasses. Can I wear them snorkeling?" The simple answer is "No - but there is a solution." Prescription lenses are available for your mask you receive as part of our session. Prescription lenses for most people are $76 / pair (+ sales tax) although that can be more for more uncommon prescriptions. If you are wanting prescription lenses please contact one of our stores prior to your Discover Snorkeling session.
Your Discover Snorkeling session is $179 / person and includes:

A scuba quality mask and snorkel - $119 value - available in a variety of colors and two sizes to fit everyone
Fun, adventure and comfort
You do need to be 10 years old to participate and be relatively comfortable in the water. Excelling swimming skills are not necessary - comfort in the water is. A registration form must be completed prior to participation and minors must have a parent or legal guardian co-sign the form. You can download that form here.
